Research Training:
During the summer of 2019, I had an internship at Sandia National Labs under
the direction of Travis Fisher.
For this internship we researched an a posteriori error estimation technique
using the Defect Correction method for Summation by Parts Operators.
During the summer of 2017, I was the graduate mentor for an undergraduate
research group (REU) funded by the NSF.
This group studied a Locally-Implicit Lax-Wendroff Discontinuous Galerkin
method.
In particular, we researched positivity-preserving schemes for
conservation laws under this method.
